Pamela M. (Hansen) Spencer, 68

BEVERLY Mrs. Pamela M. (Hansen) Spencer, 68, beloved wife of Stewart B. Spencer, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2011 at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

Born and raised in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late Harold L. and Madolyn (Parks-Fader Rafuse) Hansen. She received her education in the Beverly school system and graduated from Beverly High School. A lifelong resident of the City of Beverly, Pam's life was centered around her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband, with whom she shared 47 years of marriage, she is survived by her daughter, Kristen Dixey and her husband, Kevin of Beverly; three sons, Stewart B. Spencer II and his wife, Christine of Beverly, Dahl P. Spencer and his wife, Samantha of Worcester and Jason O. Spencer and his wife, Holly of Beverly; 12 grandchildren, Tiana Dixey, Nicholas Dixey, Bryan, Abby, Rachel, Anthony, Robert, Steven, Cody, Hunter, Logan and Sydney Spencer; two sisters, Thelma Lewis of Beverly and Hillary Mackey of Salem; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Shirley Manchurowski, Janice Tanzella, Sonja Hansen and H. Doug Hansen.
